  • The Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, and Minnesota Vikings have each lost four times at the Super Bowl. The Buffalo Bills lost four times in a row.
  • No NFL team has ever played the Super Bowl on its own home field.
  • Six teams have lost the final game of the regular season and still won the Super Bowl.
  • The longest field goal in Super Bowl history, 54 yards, was made by Steve Christie of the Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl XXVIII.
  • Mike Tomlin - coaching the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLIII, is the youngest coach at 36 years, 323 days to win a Super Bowl ring.
  • St. Louis Rams coach Dick Vermeil is the oldest coach at 63 years, 92 days to win a Super Bowl, Super Bowl XXXIV over the Tennessee Titans.
