Workout routines can be customized according to the needs of the user, whether you are trying to lose weight or improve your strength and flexibility. Workout logs can be emailed from the phone so that you can keep track of your progress.
Quit Smoking Now with Max Kirsten: Kirsten is a New York Times columnist and clinical hypnotherapist. This app brings his self-help methods right to your phone to help you quit for good.
WebMD Mobile: This app gives you instant access to all of the functionality of WebMD, including the symptom and drug information databases and basic first-aid techniques.
Women’s Wisdom Perpetual Calendar: A 365-day calendar written by women’s health expert Dr. Christiane Northrup. The calendar provides inspiration, health tips, exercise suggestions, and health information designed especially for women.
RunKeeper: This running/walking app uses Global Positioning System (GPS) data to track your distance. The app also provides maps. You can track your activity over time by synchronizing the RunKeeper app with RunKeeper.com.
Livestrong.com Calorie Tracker: This app that integrates with the Livestrong.com program called MyPlate to let you keep a daily food log. The Calorie Tracker also provides you with instant nutritional and caloric information for whatever you eat.
GlucoseBuddy: This app helps diabetics monitor blood sugar levels by logging food intake and exercise.
Meditation Timer: This app helps you work in a few quiet minutes of meditation into your busy schedule.
aSleep: The importance of a good night’s sleep to a healthy lifestyle has been proven. This app uses a simple interface and provides soothing sounds of nature to help lull you into a deeper, more restful sleep.
